There are a few factors that brought me to the office. The first factor was, I attended a “Free Dinner” that he advertised on Facebook. Second, was my family suggesting that I go see a chiropractor. I have been experiencing chronic fatigue and burning /aching in my feet. Once I saw the x-rays, I had to do something.
At my 3 month re-evaluation, Dr. Tyler said my results are better than he expected. By listening to his nutritional advice, I have lost 65 pounds, stopped all my medications which included blood pressure, thyroid, protnix, anti-depressant and my cholesterol medicine. I definitely have more energy and reduced burning and aching in my feet.
I know to improve my life expectancy for the better I will continue to come in for my adjustments on a regular basis to maintain the health of my spine.
Prior to becoming a patient at McClimon Chiropractic I was diagnosed by my family doctor with “frozen” shoulder. My socket would hardly move at all and I could barely lift my left arm horizontal and could not rotate the joint.
I heard about McClimon Chiropractic through my family most of who have been coming to Dr. Tyler for quite a while. My family doctor had told me to take Advil for the pain and to use heat/cold as needed but it did not work.
After becoming a patient I learned that I have some long-term arthritis that will always cause some issues. Over the past year, Dr. Tyler has worked with me steadily to free-up my shoulder. I can now move both of my arms, the same amount, with little effort and very minor pain.
I see myself using chiropractic adjustments in the future by maintaining my adjustment schedule indefinitely. I will share my personal story with anyone who will listen and feel that my wife would benefit from a chiropractic checkup and am working on getting her in here.
I started out having back problems and I was previously diagnosed with Sciatica and went through the protocols that were advised by my doctor. So I was scheduled for physical therapy and placed on anti-inflammatory medications. After a while on this plan, it was obviously not working so while driving by your office every day, I decided to see what chiropractic was all about.
What I have learned since I was diagnosed with Sciatica, is the problem was an imbalance in my lower spine and hips that was causing subluxation. I now no longer feel pain down the back of my leg. I generally feel more energized and I rarely get sick since getting my adjustments.
I am maintaining wellness through biweekly adjustments and I would like to share with everyone the benefits and help them understand Chiropractic Care. I would like to share this knowledge so they can make an informed decision about their health care and I believe that anyone and everyone should be checked for subluxation.
Prior to becoming a patient at McClimon Chiropractic I suffered from lower back pain. My back always hurt! Every moment of the day was affected, from the moment I woke up until the time I went to bed. I used over the counter pain relievers to try to minimize pain.
I scheduled an appointment with Dr. McClimon hoping to avoid surgery. From the first visit to today, my back pain is virtually gone! I really did not realize how much pain was interfering with my life. I no longer take medications for pain and I am sleeping much better.
I had been suffering since September 2001, BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!!
Thank you for all the relief I have received, I look forward to coming for years to come….
I first discovered chiropractic as a younger man and was familiar with the inside out model of wellness. I truly believe in the benefits of chiropractic as a way to get well and stay well. When my Dr. recommended McClimon Chiropractic for my young daughter who was suffering from ear infections, I was totally on board. A refreshing alternative to the usual referrals, a chiropractic consult really made sense.
My daughter’s health brought me through the door however, I too am a patient of Dr. McClimon, and feel better than ever. Previously I just dealt with the back pain, digestive issues and the pressure I felt in the back of my head as a way of life.
Now I am enjoying relief from the symptoms I previously had and my vision has even improved all as a result of being under Chiropractic care.
My future health and a new healthy lifestyle which includes seeing a chiropractor will most certainly keep me in better condition and my family too.
I absolutely will share the good news with everyone that chiropractic really works!
I heard about McClimon Chiropractic from my friend Nancy. I was telling her about my back and leg pain and also how my massage therapist said my back was certainly out of line.
My place of employment, as any, didn’t look kindly upon taking off unless I was really sick. So I tried taking over the counter medication and even tried prescription pain pills, neither of which really worked for very long.
In coming to McClimon Chiropractic I found that the root of my problem was a phase of vertebral subluxation, degeneration and postural imbalance all of which restricted movement in my back and neck.
I now enjoy unrestricted movement in my back and neck which I’ve noticed while driving. I have noticeably more energy and I am walking straighter and without pain as well. Everyone comments on how much better I am looking these days. In fact my wife said to me recently “sit down, take a rest, you’re working too hard”. I can’t believe how much better I am feeling!
Chiropractic care, as well as the adjustments I have received from Dr.Tyler, are something I will continue for a lifetime. I would like to tell the world about how chiropractic works! I think everyone can truly benefit from a spinal evaluation.
The effect on my life was significant.
Depending on how badly my back hurt, I was unable to do many activities that I love such as cooking, sewing and gardening, because I was unable to sit or stand comfortably for extended periods of time. To deal with the pain I resorted to the over-the-counter pain medication, Tylenol (I am allergic to NSAIDs), and when the pain was so bad that Tylenol wouldn’t work, I got prescription pain killers. Over the years I’ve had physical therapy of different kinds to try to remedy my problems without relief.
The migraines also wreck havoc on my life. When I get what I refer to as a low-level migraine, the headache is accompanied by nausea. With this kind of headache I can push myself through a day with difficulty. However, when I get a major migraine, the nausea is accompanied by sensitivity to light, sound, and motion. The pain in my head is almost unbearable with this kind of headache. These kinds of headaches force me to take prescription pain killers and to retreat to my bed. There can be no sound or light, so the curtains must be drawn and there can be no radio or tv on. These kinds of headaches have caused me to miss work and have also caused me to have to back out of social engagements, sometimes at the very last minute. One year I missed my nephew’s birthday party. Once my headache was so bad that I went to the doctor and received several injections of morphine. Over the years I have had CAT scans and MRIs. I’ve been prescribed several different pain medications. In the early 90’s I spent eight days at an inpatient headache clinic where I was treated, tested, and prescribed Midrin and injections of DHE (which I learned to give to myself).
I had had friends and acquaintances recommend chiropractic for both my back pain and the headaches, and I thought it seemed like a good idea. But I never went any further with it. Then last year at school-sponsored health fair, I stopped at the McClimon table and perused the literature. I had the representative look at my posture. And I decided to take a chance and made an appointment for the free examination. I figured, “What could it hurt?”
Once Dr. McClimon showed me my initial x-rays and explained what he could do for me, I decided to make the commitment to one year of care. Within weeks I was feeling better. Now, after my one year is up and I’m into the beginning of my second year of care, I can say with all honesty that my situation has improved at least 80%. I have much less back pain, many fewer headaches, and am required to purchase much less pain medication.
I look forward to my continued improvement and highly recommend chiropractic care for the relief of back pain and migraines!
For the past 2 years, my menstrual cycle has been off for reasons I could not explain. I went to see my gynecologist and he checked me out and told me that he could not find anything wrong with me.
For the next year, I continued to have problems back and forth and it became bothersome with pain, aches in my joints and emotions all over the place.
Beginning in 2016 I thought I was back to my old cycle of being on time until April hit. I started on April 3 and I continued to have my cycle every 2 weeks for 4 months.
I began seeing Dr. Tyler on August 22nd and I feel so much better. I sleep better, more relaxed and most of my aches and pains are gone. I know I have a long way to go and I am hoping that my cycle will become more regular and everything will improve.
I’ve known Dr. Tyler for approximately twenty years. I had the pleasure of working with Tyler at Daniel Boone High School where Tyler was a student and I was a Technology Education instructor. He elected to take a couple of our Technology Education classes. Tyler fabricated some beautiful pieces of furniture while in my Advanced Wood Tech class. We stayed in touch over the years and from him I learned about his chiropractic practice located in Gibraltar.
During the spring of 2012, I herniated a disk in my lower back. I was told that a laminectomy was the only way to solve the problem and relieve the pain that I had. At that point I decided that I should pursue some other treatments before undergoing the surgery. I had tried rest, stretching, icing, and other pain relieving treatments, but nothing really seemed to work. While driving past Dr. Tyler’s’ office, one day in early May, I decided to contact him and see what could be done before I underwent back surgery.
The decision to come in for a consultation and evaluation with Dr. Tyler was life changing for me. Within a couple of weeks of 3x a week adjustments, my pain had decreased to the point where I could get around. In addition to the 3x a week adjustments with Dr. Tyler, I had stretching exercises to do twice a day. As of February of 2013, I have improved to the point where I can do everything I was doing before my accident and more. I still see Dr. Tyler once a week and I am still doing the stretching exercises he prescribed, but at this point I don’t think I’ll need the surgery. He has given me the ability to do the things I want and maintain my lifestyle.
I will continue to see Dr. Tyler for as long as he thinks I will benefit from his care. I believe that his knowledge and technique has given me my life back. Without his care, I wouldn’t be able to lead the active lifestyle that I’ve enjoyed for so long and don’t want to give up.
In my opinion, I believe that before undergoing any type of surgery or treatment that involves the spine, a chiropractic evaluation and adjustments can be invaluable. I would recommend Dr. Tyler and his very competent office staff to anyone who has had problems that can be traced back to subluxation. It has been a pleasure working with them.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Tyler for several months. What a difference he has made in my life! I lived with chronic pain for years and my family doctor sent me to pain management. After 40 shots, 16 nerve blocks and 3 epidurals I was still suffering. Then I met Dr. Tyler who said he could help me. I was very skeptical and was thinking “I really don’t think you can help me.” WAS I WRONG! Not only am I not suffering in pain anymore but I have gotten benefits from my care that I wasn’t expecting. My circulation has improved, I have more energy, and I no longer have to deal with the weight gain from the steroid injections and I haven’t had a headache since I started seeing him. I cannot thank him enough and wish I would have met him sooner! ITS AMAZING TO WAKE UP WITH NO PAIN!
